Dynamic Webs are a web hosting business which is expanding and we�re looking for a Linux Web networks Administrator to help our company grow. This is a great opportunity for a technical person with some entrepreneurial spirit.
You will be involved in streamlining sysadmin tasks, developing new hosting services to offer customers and involved in the creation of new self-serve web hosting applications.
In-depth knowledge and experience in managing Windows 2003 and Linux web networks are a must. Strong Operational/Management and communication skills are also a must. You will be working with numerous remote contacts. At times your role will be very visible: you will be trusted with representing the hosting side of our business. You may be called upon to expand the hosting department.
You will also be responsible for our office LAN, and be involved in selection, purchase, installation and support of new LAN software/hardware. Our office is in East Grinstead with additional web hosting machines located elsewhere.
This position may start as part-time, but you will also be expected to be able to be on-call (i.e. at 3am) in emergencies. |

Administration of various hosting control panel apps as well as SmarterMail, SendMail, Mailman, MS SQL Server, MySQL, ASP.NET, Cold Fusion, PHP, PERL, OS Commerce, Payment gateway, SSL
Firewall, cluster, load balancer configuration
Software / Web development experience: ASP.NET (C#, VB.NET), Cold Fusion, PHP would be an advantage
Configuration Management experience a plus |
