Digital Webbing
The place for updates on your favourite comic-related Web sites.
Any site worth its salt will advertise its updates here, so Digital
Webbing serves very well as a start page or portal. And it's not
too shabby on the interviews and features front either.

comics sites as it can find. These include companies, creators,
galleries, fan pages, you name it. It's fully searchable and devoted
to nothing but comics. Top!

Warren Ellis
Yes, the scourge of all editors, rising star of the comics world
and all-round enfant terrible has its own Web site. The online scripts,
proposals and columns will have Ellis fans in heaven, but anyone
with an interest in modern comics should take a look around, not
least for the "From the Desk Archives", a collection of Ellis's
rants and raves.

Sequential Tart
Run by 'an eclectic band of women', Sequential Tart is a monthly
online magazine, or Webzine, with its feet rooted very firmly on
the ground. Each issue contains features on artists and titles,
industry gossip and opinion columns, comics reviews and creator
profiles. Despite the title, it doesn't specifically concentrate
on women in the industry - just quality comics.

The Beano
Even after 60 years in print, The BEano still continues to be the
most popular comic for children. Combine this with the amount of
youngsters who are rapidly gaining access to the Internet, and it's
only logical that The Beano now has a Web site of its own. There's
an interactive comic where you can control Dennis the Menace, sliding-puzzle
games featuring pictures of Dennis, Minnie the Minx, and so on -
and you can even make your own puppets. One of the strengths of
this site is that many of the activities require children toprint
something out abd then make it, colour it, etc.
